STARBOARD ADMISSIONS

Thank you for choosing to partner with Starboard Christian Academy and trusting your child’s education and future with us.  Please follow the below steps to apply for admission at Starboard Christian Academy.  If at any time you have questions about this form, fees, or our process please contact us at starboard@starboardchristian.com.  We understand this is an important decision you are making and we want to help every step of the way.

1. We ask that you prayerfully decide if Starboard Christian Academy is the right decision for your family as our unique model and philosophy will require a great partnership between the families and the school. 
2. One or both parents must attend an Information Session or school tour prior to completing this application so you understand our school & yearly fees.
3. Complete the online Starboard Christian Academy Application for Admissions. 
4. Mail the Parent Covenant, Statement of Faith, and the $150 ($200 after May 7th) application fee (per student) to Starboard Christian Academy  2380 Lake Shore Rd S, Denver, NC 28037.  You will only need to submit one online application per family.
5. After an application is received it may be required that previous school records (1st grade and higher) be submitted.  In addition, a reading and/or math assessment will be scheduled.  
6. Next, you will be contacted to schedule a family interview.  Once the interview has taken place an admission decision will be rendered and your family will be notified.  A registration deposit will be requested within 10 days after you received your acceptance letter/call.  The deposit will be applied to your yearly tuition payment.  Admissions and Waitlist placement will be determined on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Starboard Christian Academy reserves the right to balance the classrooms based on gender and special needs. 
7. Once you have partnered with Starboard Christian Academy we will send you additional information about fee schedules (book & curriculum fees), and documents; such as, prior school records, and health exam forms.
